147 Coated bullets problems
Quote from Reloader on February 25, 2016, 11:43 pmLove both of my Dillon presses, I load 9mm on SDB and 45ACP on a 550. I just received some Precision moly coated bullets in 147gr. I loaded a few to test fire, I used 3.4gr Titegroup powder, Seller&Bellot primers, and an OAL of 1.103" (1.115"is recommended) Crimp is .3805". I went to the club to test these with a Glock 43. The fire nice, but they tumble and keyhole. Any suggestions? I always separate the brass, so i have consistency. Is this a crimp problem or a short barrel issue?
