2011 Calendars - WHY?!

I got my 2011 Dillon Precision calendars today. While the models are top notch, and the larger format make them even more pleasing to the eye, WHOSE TERRIBLE IDEA WAS IT TO ELIMINATE THE MONTHLY FORMAT CALENDAR PORTION? That was a HORRIBLE IDEA! I, for one, write notes on my calendars in those daily slots. I find the seven-day/four-week matrix USEFUL, as it makes it easy to see where in the week a date lands. I LIKE knowing which major holiday is coming up.

The new calendars are useless. Literally, each month has just a list of numbers in a single row at the bottom of the model. Like this:

1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 19 20 21 22 23 24 25 26 27 28 19 30 31. THAT IS LAME!

There is no space to write notes, and you have to guess why some of the dates are in red (which president's birthday is that again?).

I was already disappointed that there is only one calendar available (Precision) instead of the traditional two (Precision and Aero). Now you've made them useless. If all I wanted was pictures of girls with guns, I'd have purchased a coffee table book. Part of the charm of the Dillon calendars was their usefulness in addition to the models. Now you've made them into a flip book with nearly no utility at all.

I have proudly hung Dillon calendars in my office for the past five years. I will be returning the 2011 calendars tomorrow. I hope you guys don't screw it up next year. BRING BACK THE SEVEN-DAY/FOUR-WEEK BOX MATRIX!

OK, I have decided to keep the calendars, but only because the models are so danged hot! I'm going to pring standard month grids and tape them to the bottom of the calendars, but that doesn't change the factr that I shouldn't have to do this!

Please, guys, next year, think this out a little more.

Gotta agree with John1026. I miss the old format and especially miss the second calendar. I will be keeping my 2011 calendar, but I hope you bring back the Aero calendar and the traditional calendar formatting.

As usual the girls and guns are superb but all and all this year's calendar really sucks. The numbers across the bottom are useless for figuring what day it is and planning stuff. Also I've had a space on the wall set aside for my Dillon calendars and now this one is a lot bigger so I have to move the 2011 calendar. Little thing but it messes up the decor. haha. Hopefully Dillon will go back to the better format or at least say it's screwed up in the description so I can go else where for my calendar for 2012.

I have to agree with the others, that this is the worst calender I have ever purchased from Dillon Precision for six or seven years I've been buying them. Pictures are great and the girls are beautiful, but the format stinks with a strip of numbers across the bottom does nothing to help you keep track of what's going on or what day it is. I'm dumping this piece of garbage you call a calender and I need to find one that I can use in my office. I've always enjoyed seeing the beautiful girls, but I still need a calender for work so this was a waste of time and money for me. I've always enjoyed looking forward to the next Dillon Precision Calender, but as of now that most likely won't be happening again as long as they keep this format, I hope you at Dillon change back to previous years format.

I am in total agreement, Love the bigger pics of the "guns" but the numbers like that... not so much, totally useless.
And no Aero calendar??? Sad.

Absolutely 100% agree other than to look at the models holding guns this calendar is useless. Sorry.

... really hope DP does NOT use this format EVER again...

I have to agree. The larger format is so large that the space I have reserved for my Dillon Calendars is too small. Now I have a calendar with no place to hang it. I ended up hanging it behind my den door, which is really sad since the door is always open and I can't see it.

I really miss the two calendar format.

The worse part is I have to buy another calendar so I can see the month in a seven day / weekly format. I really depend on that format since I use it to figure out what day it is and how many days before the shooting days, I mean weekend.

So, now I have dogs instead of Dillon gals. Yuck. Dogs were the only guy calendars I could find. Yuck. Yuck. Yuck.

Please bring back the old format and the old size. Please!!!

I think the calendars are really superb! And I am looking foreword to the 2013 line up for the new calendar. I think it is a mistake to stop issuing such a great calendar. I have been a customer for many years, buying reloading equipment and supplies.
Please send me a new calendar for 2013 because it is always such a great venue to help me threw the year.
Thank you all for supplying such great products to me and my brothers abroad.
