.223 brass processing
Quote from Reloader on April 27, 2019, 7:08 pmI am wanting to set up a 650 just for brass...I don’t need anything but the bare minimum. Don’t need Anything from the tool head up...I have a tool head that is set up for .223 with decap, 1500, and sizing die...but would like to leave it set up...and put a swaging tool on it and mount it permanently. I have a couple extra ball handles, so wouldn’t need a handle. I would need another .223 conversion kit, but that’s it. What would be my cheapest way out...

Quote from Reloader on April 29, 2019, 7:04 pmI know it voids the warranty...it could possibly crack the frame. That’s why I was looking for a used one or maybe buy it part by part and build it. I used one of the aftermarket swagers on a friends 650 and swaged and cut 6000 brass with no issues. I understand why they say it could crack the frame and also understand the use of the swagger. I understand how important the alignment of said swager is and the “feel” of using the swager. That’s is why I want to build a separate unit. If I crack the frame...it’s on me. I would never fraudulently claim a warranty replacement on an item I intentionally voided the warranty on...thank you for your response.
