.223 brass WCC headstamp

I have bought some once fired brass thru a military auction. The brass is .223 and the headstamp is WCC with a 19 or 16 stamped. The only problem is on all prints it states that the primer flange should be .378 in diameter and all of these are .359. It is enough that when loading on a 1050 or 650 the brass can flop back and forth and sometimes fall out.

.359" rim diameter is the same as 30 M1 Carbine. There was a proprietary cartridge for the M1 Carbine, based on a 30 M1 case necked to 22 caliber, called the 22 Spitfire. This sounds like the cases you have. What is the overall length of the empty case? .223 is 1.760"

Yes, The length is 1.760. All dimensions are the same as for .223 rem. I loaded a few hundred before I figured out the rim different. I have not tried to fire and to see if they will eject. They came from Homestead Air Force base in South Florida and they were all marked fired 5.56 brass residue. I looked up the drawing for 30 M1 and that is not even close. This is a bottleneck 223 case except for the rim diameter.
