223 Carbide Sizer Snapped
Quote from Reloader on December 26, 2014, 12:22 amSo out of all my years reloading, I finally purchase a dillon carbide set, and not even the first thousand rounds I get a stuck case. It was properly lubed using Hornandy one shot, but I still managed to get a case stuck in there.
First thing I did was try to use the stuck case removal feature on the die. I removed the spring and secured the die on a single stage, and slowly turned the top of the die in order to remove the case. However the stem snapped! Next I tried to Drill and tap, but the depriming pin was in the way.

Quote from Reloader on December 26, 2014, 4:31 pmUnfortunately, we get more instances of stuck cases using One Shot than any other brand of case lube. Please contact us for a return authorization and send the die in. We will remove the stuck case and restore the die.

Quote from Reloader on December 26, 2014, 9:14 pmI concur with Dillon. Hornaday One shot case lube is not as good as Dillons case lube (at least on Dillon machines for 223s). I have tried both and have returned to Dillon case lube!

Definitely will try the Dillon case lube, and will get rid of the Hornandy one shot.
