223 case trimming
Quote from Reloader on April 22, 2019, 1:28 pmI want to start reloading 223 in my xl650. I’m wondering how you handle trimming the casings then send them thru the resizing die ? If you trim them and send them thru the resize die I would think you would change the length. Want to get this figured out before I get to far into it. Thanks in advance for any info you can give me.

Use a headspace case gage to set both the trim die and the size die for minimum headspace. Cases won't stretch again, as the sizing is identical.
