223 die leaving marks on bullet

Dillon 550B, Dillon carbide 223/5.56 dies. Loading Hornady 75gr #2279 to COAL 2.50". The bullet seating die is leaving a very slight circular depression near the top of the bullet. I have installed the expander ball that you sent me and am still having the same problem. It seems the expander ball is not expanding the case mouth enough for the bullet to insert without excessive force. I am now loading Hornady #2249 52gr BTHP Match and still getting the slight ring at the top of the bullet after the bullet seating die operation. What Gives?

Are you chamfering the case mouth?

Your bullet seater doesn't fit the bullet you are using.
