223 loading on 550B

Today I installed new 223 conversicion kit. I cannot get the cases to linup on station one. I have destroyed ten cases on station three because I cannot hold bullet on three and lineup case on station one. I watched a person on you tube loading 223 on 550B and his cases stood up straight. Mine are leaning. I have tried to adjust wire on station one, but could not get case to lineup with size die. I need help.

FIrst, be sure the shellplate bolt is tight enough. Push down on the edge of the shellplate between stations 2 and 3. If it feels springy, then the shellplate bolt needs to be tighter.

What bullet style are you loading? If a flatbase bullet, then you need to chamfer the case mouth using the LE Wilson case mouth chamfering tool,

Either you have the wrong shell plate, or it's not tight enough.

Obviously if it is the wrong plate, you should change it for the correct one.

If it's just loose, adjust it according to your manual. Don't forget to use the locking set screw on the ram.

Good luck!

I have the same problem ?If you find out anything let me know. It seems like the shell plate #3 is to big !
