223 Powder Die

Ok I have loaded 223 in the past with a Lee I had but now first time for Dillon. Opened the caliber change over kit and started changing over. In the 223 kit there were 2 powder funnels. Can't figure what the small one is! Larger one looks right but doesn't seem to have the tip set to slightly expand the neck to put a bullet on at the next station. Am I missing something here??

Th XL 650 Caliber Conversion Chart shows only one powder funnel for the .223/.222/.221 Remington Conv. kit number #21101. It shows a #A Powder Funnel - #13426. This is the powder funnel I use. Does the second powder funnel have a number stamped on it? Check the ring for the letter. From that we should be able to look up what it is used for in the conversion kit.

Yeah my 223 conversion kit only came with one funnel, stamped A. Because it’s for rifle, it’s just the funnel and doesn’t flare the neck.

My money is a pistol funnel/flare made it into your conversion kit. Pulling the part number off the stamp should shed light on what it’s for.

Thanks I have this figured out now. Still don't know what the other part is there in the kit. No number on it.
