223 resizing die
Quote from Reloader on January 8, 2016, 3:41 pmI have been working on starting to reload 223 for some time. The first set I purchased I repeatedly kept getting brass stuck in the resizing die. So basicily destroying the decapping part twice. I purchased new ones and also another resizing die. I size and decap then wet tumble.
This morning I set up to reload by putting the first die back in, thinking that since the brass had been resized I would not have any issues, lube the brass and the first piece got stuck, so I got that one out and thought maybe that was a one off. Well the second stuck also. Any help on this please, not sure if I am doing something wrong. Thank you

Quote from Reloader on January 8, 2016, 8:20 pmWhat are you using for case lube? We strongly recommend avoiding the water-soluble lubricants. Dillon Case Lube is lanolin in an alcohol carrier. With any aerosol lubricants, you must let the alcohol carrier evaporate before running the case up into the die. Usually 5-10 minutes wait is sufficient.

Do you know the history of the cases you are reloading?
Are the cases from a bolt action, or a semi-auto?
