30-30 or 30 WCF
Quote from Reloader on February 27, 2012, 6:30 pmSaturday night Pam and I went to a benefit silent auction and much to my surprise, someone donated a circa '72 Win Mod 94 in 30-30. Pam made sure I ended up with it in my lap at nights end. I'm told Dillon doesn't make dies for 30-30. Who makes a 3 die set that will fit a Dillon 550? I'd like to start working up some loads for this weapon. It goes to the gunsmith today for a checkup and cleaning. Thanks from Loveland, CO.

Dillon used to make .30-30 dies and I'm glad to have them. An RCBS two die set with a Lee factory crimp die is a good option for you. This is the setup I use for all calibers that I cannot get Dillon dies for. I load both cast and jacketed bullets for my Winchester and Marlin .30-30s. Your rifle should really like gas checked cast bullets.
