300 Blackout feeding problems
Quote from Reloader on March 18, 2020, 4:04 pmI have an older collator. Directions say to use the small pistol plate with the two washers installed for 300 Blackout. I have it set up that way.
The plate is not picking up the cases. It can take 2-3 minutes at least to fill the tube.
I tried the small rifle plate but it was feeding in upside down brass. I could see no way for the collator to reject brass laying the wrong way in the plate.
Any ideas?

Quote from Reloader on April 2, 2020, 11:15 pmIf you move the metal piece @ the area where the brass falls into the tube.....approximately 3/4 inch...closing off the opening......it works very well with the small rifle plate. The metal piece is just pinched onto the plastic....I use a flat blade screwdriver to move it.
