300 Win Mag, magnum powder bar??
Quote from Reloader on July 10, 2010, 11:44 pmSo after going over some reloading specs for powder I am trying to figure out if the Magnum powder bar is right for me. I feel with the 300 Win Mag that I will prob at some point be loading around 80 grains of powder for some loads.
Does the Magnum Powder bar throw enough powder for my loads? Has anyone thrown a 85 grain charge with it and what powder types and you used?
This is an easy idea to understand the powders and such that I will most likely use and some load ideas.

and what else I might be trying. These are just some ideas but I will be starting with the IMR 4350

Quote from Reloader on September 8, 2010, 7:50 amI had the same problem loading .257 wtby mags. Mine wouldn't go to the required 64 gr. I needed. I load my rifle ammo one at a time, so I just set my measure for 32 grs., and give it a double charge. Of course I weigh every round, pour it back in the case and finish it up.
