.308 Loading (First timer)
Quote from Reloader on October 19, 2008, 2:22 amI was referred by a friend to look at Dillon loaders since it's become cost-prohibitive to shoot my .308 bolt recently (California).
I was looking at the RL 550B, and was wondering if there was anything to watch out for when using it on .308 cartridges?I generally shoot 70-80 rounds every-other week, with a bolt-action savage.

Quote from Reloader on October 20, 2008, 2:04 pmNo specific issues at all loading .308 on the RL550B. Just the usuals, having to lube the brass prior to sizing, checking sized case trim length, and setting headspace in the size die. These apply to loading rifle cartridges on all machines, not just ours.
