.32 H&R and .327 Federal on a SDB
Quote from Uncle Martin on January 7, 2025, 9:00 pmIf I were to purchase the .32 Long caliber conversion kit for my SDB, would I also have the capability to load .32 H&R and .327 Federal? Thanks in advance.

Quote from The Human Manual on January 8, 2025, 3:51 pmNo problem loading 32 H&R Magnum. Negative on the 327 Federal, however. The webbing is too thick, and our depriming assembly binds up on the inside of the case before the old primer is pushed out. It would require a completely new design on several other parts as well. Not enough demand to justify it at this time.

Quote from Wally on January 14, 2025, 11:51 pmI have a friend who uses my SDB to load his .32 Crockett rounds ☺. These are .32 H&R Mags with the bullets extended out a bit. He had a .32-20 rechambered for .32 Mag and found the rounds needed to be longer to function reliably.
We call it a .32 Crockett as his SASS alias is Crockett.
