38 Special Purchase Items?
Quote from Reloader on November 13, 2020, 11:06 amI have a new 650 press on my bench, was ordered with a 9mm set up, but the wife and I are carrying 38 revolvers now... so I’m going to start with 38 special, wadcutter and semi wadcutter... what additional items did I miss on my shopping list?
1) 38 caliber conversion kit - Dillon dies... is there different seating stems for wadcutter (staying with Dillon as I like the cleaning option)
2) large pistol shell plate for case feeder
3) loving rings (wrench required), or should I use my Foster rings?
4) read a post on Unique powder funnel for wadcutter vs. standard Dillon... any one have experience?
5) purchase more primer tubes (all I will ever load is small pistol on this press)
6) Dillon hex wrench/locking ring wrench and holderThanks for the guidance!

As you mentioned Uniquetek has a powder funnel that enlarges the case for wadcutters. https://uniquetek.com/product/T1735.
They also have a seating stem that replaces the one in your seating die that is designed for wadcutters. It can be removed form the die just like the original for cleaning. https://uniquetek.com/product/T1561
I have no experience with either of these products.
You may consider getting an additional tool head & powder funnel so you can setup a 38 spl toolhead and leave the 9mm setup on one tool head in case you want to go back and do some 9mm
