38 Super Comp Case

I started to reload .38 Super for my Kimber. I purchased a bag of Super Comp brass and after reloading/shooting them they would not eject from my gun. The base rim on the Super Comp case is of a smaller diameter. What is a Super Comp case used for?

38 Super Comp is a variation of 38 Super used in USPSA and IPSC open division competition guns. The smaller rim diameter allows 1 or 2 more rounds to fit in a magazine. Use of this cartridge requires a knowledgeable gunsmith tune an extractor specifically for the smaller rim.
