.380 adjustment problem
Quote from Reloader on March 20, 2017, 8:35 pmI reload on a Dillon 650 press. This is not my first rodeo. I reload 9mm, 40s&w, .357 mag, 41 mag, 44 mag, 45 ACP and have never had a problem adjusting the powder measure for both proper powder charge and case belling until I started setting up for 380 ACP. My problem is when I get the powder measure adjusted so the white tab is all the way back I can't get the adjustment set to properly bell the case. The case bells so much that it splits the case and the press has not even reached the full stroke position. I have never had a problem with any of the other calibers I listed above. I have tweaked and fiddled with the adjustment just short of being committed to a mental institution. I'm sure this is something fairly simple and I just can't see the forest for the trees. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
