40 S&W
Quote from Reloader on November 23, 2012, 3:42 pmBeen having problem loading 40 S&W when belling the case mouth I have to fight with it all the time. Sometimes it sticks so bad that powder spills out of the case mouth. Read somewhere that the land for expanding the case mouth is to long so when you begin to bell the mouth the bottom expander sticks in the thicker part of the case. If this is so, is there a fix to the problem I am having.
When loading .38 or 9mm I do not have this problem.

Quote from Reloader on December 7, 2012, 12:31 pmI experienced the same aggravation when I started loading .40 S&W.
The expander was a bit rough, and had a light coat of scoured brass on it. So I polished it with fine steel wool. This corrected the annoying problem for me.
