.40 S&W bullet seat stems
Quote from Reloader on July 6, 2020, 2:18 pmMy 40 S&W conversion kit has two bullet seat stems. One is marked .40 and the other 10mm.
The one marked .40 works great with 180 gr. Flat point bullets. When using Round point bullets, the OAL varies a lot more. Two questions: 1) will the stem marked 10mm work better with the round nose bullets? 2) or, is there a different stem to use with .40 S&W round nose bullets?

Quote from Reloader on July 6, 2020, 2:26 pmWe don't make a round nosed seat stem for 40 S&W/10mm. One stem has thinner walls than the other. The thin walled one is for truncated and HP projectiles, the thicker one is for SWC projectiles. The markings don't mean that much, use the seating stem that best fits the projectile.
