40sw not enough bell

my old square deal wont bell case more than .005. ok for fmj or plated but not for lead heads as i get some lead smeared on the out side of bullet & case. have powder funnel turrned allthe way down now help any one???????? my setup for 9mm i have plenty of adjustment

I suspect there is either wear or damage to the connector body collar that is causing this. Another possibility is that the hole in the powder measure body where the bellcrank bolt goes could be cracked.

Be sure you have a W powder funnel as well.

Inspect these parts, let us know what you need.

connector body collar ???? what part is this plastic collar???

part# please cant veiw powder schematic clearly to see part #

connector not cracked or worn as i said works fine in all other cal. this is not a b square deal new tool head and dies

thanks rep powder funnel turrned all the way in and now with the new part it bells the case nicely for lead heads

May I know what part you replaced as I am finding myself having the same issue. The powder die is all the way down and there is no further adjustment that can be made. I have the W funnel; and with inspection the plastic collar appears to be fine and I cant find anything that is cracked or broken.

Im interested what part you changed that corrected this problem please.

I think they are talking about part 13845 Collar Sleeve. See page 5 of the owners manual.
