44 Mag Dies
Quote from Reloader on January 25, 2008, 10:44 amNot sure what happened there. I am inquiring about the crimp on the 44 Mag die. It is called an "Accu-crimp." Is that a roll crimp or a taper crimp? I want to load for a Desert Eagle as well as a revolver. Will ammo loaded with this crimp die work properly in a semi-auto and a revolver or will I need another die with a different crimp? Thanks.

Quote from Reloader on January 25, 2008, 7:03 pmThe Accu-Crimp die is a two stage crimp die. It starts off as a taper crimp, for light loads. For heavier loads, adjust the die down further to apply a roll crimp on top of the taper crimp. It works well for both of your applications.
