45 ACP Crimp

What can be done to make 45acp feed reliable? Seems crimp for a tight chambered pistol with lead bullets crimp is not enough can Square Deal be made to crimp enough or do you need to have something like the Lee FCD die for that? I have the 550 press as well but use the Square Deal for 45acp only. It works great on all but one pistol that has a tight chamber and reloads with lead just don't feed well needs crimped more I guess? I havent tried yet to crimp more that might fix it or not. Is .459-.461 what mouth should mic with right crimp? If it does what is solution for this gun other than reaming chamber?

A properly crimped case mouth should be .469-.471" at the case mouth, after crimping. More crimp than that and you'll bulge the case below the crimp and deform the projectile.

If you pull the barrel, does a loaded cartridge easily fall completely into and out of the chamber? If yes, then the issue is in bullet profile or OAL.

Thanks I will check it out if all that is right then it must be tight chamber and will need to ream chamber a little.
