45 acp sizing die issues
Quote from Reloader on July 11, 2016, 1:36 pmI have a 550 press with RCBS 45 acp dies with a hornady taper crimp die in the 4th hole. Most of the time everything goes smoothly but latley I find that I have to adjust almost every case to get the case into the sizing die. I shoot a variety of brass from a range I work at. just wondering if the Dillon die would work any better for sizing, or if there is something else I need to look at

Quote from Reloader on July 13, 2016, 10:50 pmThe Dillon size die has a beveled mouth, so it guides the case up into the die. Many other die manufacturers have a sharp 90- degree angle, as their dies are intended for use on a single stage machine, where you are expected to guide the case mouth up into the die.
