45 colt brass
Quote from Reloader on March 7, 2014, 1:22 pmI'm loading new brass, 45 colt and about every 3rd round gets stuck in the resizing die and pulls threw the plate. I am using a RL 550B loader with RCBS carbide die. It is also scaring the brass badly, do I need to use lube to fix that problem or is there something with the wrong the die or brass?

Are you lubing?
My experience with new brass is that often times the case mouths are a little rough. If they are they are probably leaving brass shavings in your sizing die and after awhile will build up enough to cause this problem. Check the inside of your sizing die for brass build up and while your looking check the finish of the die. If all of that is good try some lube if you are not already.
