Yep, the swage rod if adjusted correctly will prevent you from fully cycling on the down stroke - you'll feel this tension right before the bottom of the stroke - raise up enough to clear the die and pull out the offending case.

Good practice generally to wear eye protection...
I thought I had the swage punch set high enough, and that I only had large primer cases, but I got a small primer case left at the range by another shooter.
