45 to 40 s&w
Quote from Reloader on January 7, 2013, 2:37 amSo my father gave me his 650, and I've reloaded a bunch of 45 rounds, which he had last been doing when he used it a couple of years ago. He also has the case feed adatper and a quick change kit with dies for 40 s&w.
I decided to reload some .40 and just swapped the the top of the assembly (quick change kit) and the case feeder adatper... naturally things didn't work.
I have since educated myself (only a little) that it appears I need a shell plate and primer punch assembly for small caliber pistols.
Can anyone give me a list of exactly what I need? at least based on my poor description?
Thanks!

It will be less expensive to buy the 40 S&W conv kit (#21120) than to piece together the other individual parts you need.
