45acp Crimp Die problem?
Quote from Reloader on January 8, 2020, 12:02 pmI am just getting started reloading 45acp on my XL650 using brand new Dillon 3 die set and I am getting some sticking in the crimp die and seeing some brass shaving. I am crimping down to .472 which is just enough to get the bullet to drop into my barrel without any force. Could the problem be to much case belling or maybe something else?

Quote from Reloader on January 8, 2020, 5:14 pmIf you are using new cases, or wet-cleaned cases, this can be a problem. As for flaring, we suggest flaring cases at least .010" larger than a sized, unflared case measures, up to .015" larger for polymer coated or plated bullets.
