550 Primer slide?
Quote from Reloader on April 15, 2018, 2:51 pmI was having a problem with the the primers falling into the primer cup. I would have to wiggle the primer slide when it was all the way back to get the primer to go into the cup. I called and was told that the primer housing was worn out. Got the new one installed and the small primer slide would get stuck in the housing but the large one worked fine? So I put the small primer cup onto the large primer slide and it works great. So some how I bent my small primer slide and that’s what wore out the primer housing I guess?
Comparing the new housing to the old is a huge difference didn’t realize how much it was worn out. Going to get another primer slide and I should be good to go?

Once that is done with the alignment tool, then make sure that the primer assembly is correctly adjusted. There should be very little wear on the priming assembly when properly aligned. Mine is almost 20 years old with around 13,000 rounds through it and I have had little to no wear on mine.
