550B
Quote from Reloader on July 17, 2010, 11:55 pmI have aquired a 550B reloader and it was in total pieces and I need help. I have got just about everything together but the ability to have the powder charge bar move when cycled. Here is my problem I have attached the Failsafe rod (97000) to the slotted Bellcrank (97034) and have the Shoulder Washer, Rod Spring,Stripper Wing Nut and Tinnerman Nut inseert all in place. From what I see the Shoulder washer with the spring and wing nut go under the Return bracket. When the machine is cycled the rod passes through the washer and return bracket with no problem but the powder charge bar does not move nor does the Bellcrank. What must be done to have the rod push the charge bar and dispense the powder?

Quote from Reloader on July 19, 2010, 12:09 pmStumps13 you need a case on station 2 to allow the bar to cycle. If you properly set up a case on station two when you lower the lever and the case make contact with the die you will see the power bar cycling if the die is no low enough it will be an incomplete drop.

the charge bar/bellcrank is activated by the case being charged, and will not move unless a case is in the charging station.
