550B fail safe powder bushing
Quote from Reloader on July 1, 2013, 8:18 pmI have a late 80's model 550B . My powder fail safe rod bushing was lost in a move. I ordered a new bushing and it will not stay in the return bracket. I have sent email to Dillon through the "contact us" on this web page 21 days ago and have not received a reply as to whether I could get a larger bushing for an older press. Today I ordered the upgraded powder fail safe system which should get my press back in service. I am disappointed that I have received no reply from Dillon on this issue as I have been using Dillon products for 25 years with total satisfaction until now.

Quote from Reloader on January 29, 2014, 1:36 pmI just set up my new RL550B and I am having the same issue with my failsafe rod bushing, it keeps slipping out of the metal bracket on the handle downstroke. Is there a quick fix for this or do I need a new bushing with a tighter fit? I read somewhere online that I should bend the fingers of the metal bracket inward some, but the steel seems a bit thick to bend. I wrapped a piece of paper tape around the bushing for now, but was hoping I could get another bushing that fit properly.
Thank you,
John Southwick
