550B: Removing shellplate bolt from index sprocket

I need to remove the shellplate bolt from the index sprocket. It does not just slide out but the sprocket spins freely. Does it consists of an upper bolt and a lower female threaded part that sandwiches the index sprocket?

If so, is it reverse threaded?

TIA

The shellplate bolt is one piece. It sounds like some galling has occurred. Set a socket over the top of the shellplate bolt and tap on it with a hammer. This will separate the two parts. In the future, grease the recess in the sprocket where the shellplate bolt contacts it to prevent this.

Thanks, that worked. It took quite a blow to punch it out as there was a lot of galling. I'll have to clean up the inside of the indexing plate to make it useful again.
