6.5 Creedmoor Conversion

Just bought a conversion kit for my 6.5 and, in addition to the usual parts, there is a white bushing in addition to the orange sleeve. Can anyone explain how this is installed? It does not look like an ordinary small, medium or large bushing that I am used to.

the tubular end installs just like a handgun adapter does, it goes down into the pivoting arm. The partial arc shaped shield is there to ensure the case doesn't tip over as the arm pivots.
