Quote from Reloader on January 3, 2015, 4:09 amSeveral months ago I installed a MRDIAL powder adjuster based on reviews. It is very handy and works well for me. Powder charges are always very accurate with little to no differences. I also about the same time installed a thrust bearing kit. That really helped to smooth out operation and made priming more consistent since the shell plate could be tightened more to eliminate the flex during priming. Being a bullseye shooter, precision loading is key to producing less than two inch accuracy required at 50 yards for the 1911 pistol.

Quote from Reloader on February 3, 2015, 12:50 amI've also installed the MRDIAL and find it a big help in dialing in powder charge changes. Of course using a powder scale to be sure you have the right amount is essential after the change.
Dillon doesn't like you to use anything other than the hex bolt since they claim unauthorized changes to the powder drop could be made but the hex bolt is no more secure and at least the MRDIAL has graduations so you can tell if it's been moved.
Another very worthwhile addition is the UniqueTek Spent Primer Chute that directs spent primers through a plastic tube into a catch can of what ever type you like. It positively eliminates the primers bouncing out of the little cup and onto the floor.
