650 only strong mount
Quote from Reloader on October 31, 2016, 1:15 amI am assuming that the 650 only mount will work on the 550b. I would just have to either mount them up on a couple of 2x4's or notch out the bench. If that is correct, prefer notching, do I have to mount the ramp on top of the strong mount or is there a new ramp I would need to get to allow the finished rounds to exit the press?
Is there any adverse effects I am not seeing if I was to use the 650 only strong mount on the 550b?

Quote from Reloader on October 31, 2016, 3:53 pmThe RL550B will attach to the 650 Strong Mount. It is about 2 inches short, so either fabricating a riser or notching your benchtop would resolve this. You will still need the RL550B Strongmount chute, and might have to drill holes in the 650 mounting plate for proper alignment.
