650 shell not seated fully in shell plate

I purchased a new 650 that came set up for 45 ACP. I immediately changed it over to load 223. I am using cases that have already been deprimed in resized. my cases are not being fully pushed into the shell plate apparently and they often pop out of the shell plate or the primer is marred after being installed. it appears to me that the shell is not being pushed far enough into the shell plate by the camming pin (not sure if I'm using the correct term but the arm that pushes the shell into the plate). is there a necessary adjustment to this arm when switching from 45 ACP to 223 because of 223 is smaller diameter?
any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Yes, you will need to back this pin up, exactly because of the smaller case diameter. Additionally, the spring-loaded finger at station 2 will need to be adjusted inward, to prevent the case from coming out of the shellplate there.

I found that did the same thing in station #1 (resizing/decapping). I found the simple solution. If the case loads onto the shellplate from the carefeeder it didn't seem to shove it all the way onto the plate. One it loads it onto the shellplate, make sure you shove the handle all the way forward as if you are setting a new primer in place. This forward action shoves the casing all the way onto the shellplate.
Once I did that, I have not had anymore problems.
