9 mm Dillon carbon sizer question
Quote from reido737 on June 14, 2023, 10:54 pmAwhile back, like maybe 20 years or so, Dillon sent me an offer to receive a new 9mm carbide sizing die - free! - to replace the original one received in my original 9mm carbide die set. I received the new die, but I can no longer recall the circumstances for the offer, other than there was a cartridge size change needed to correct each casing to the standard drop-test size. Dillon did not request that the old die should be returned.
Of course, this got mixed up with the die set, and now I am not certain how to ID it other than to look for the constricted seated bullet outline after a reload. I failed to band the original die with a piece of blue masking tape.
Can anybody enlighten me on this? Are there others who got this same offer?
Thanks Jack
