9mm

I went to the range and got some brass for 9mm. I had found alot of it and I had check them. A few of them have a small bulge down near the base of it but before the extractor point. when they have this bulge I look at the primer and its not indented but it is protruding outwards. I put it in the resizing die and it takes this bulge away and takes out the primer. do you think it safe to use?

Cowboy, I would not reload that.  Anything you find on the range with a bulge, crack, protruding primers or such is not worth messing with.  For the 6 cents you might save on brass you could damage a firearm our yourself.  Your sizing die "fixes" small imperfections, usually up around the lip of the cartridge.  It is supposed to do that.

Might ask yourself how it got that way?  Maybe the last user over loaded the rounds.

I'd leave the on the ground.

I have been wondering how it got that way. I have never seen a primer with like a harden nipple effect. I did place it in my sizing die and it took away the bulge its more like a hump then a bugle.
