9mm and 380 dies
Quote from Reloader on June 22, 2009, 3:05 pmNo. .380ACP cases are shorter than 9mm, and have a straight case wall.
9mm is a tapered case, wider at the base than it is at the top. The .380 is not merely a shorter version of the 9mm. It uses different dies and shellplate from 9mm

Onec in a while a .380 case gets into my 9 mm empties and when it goes through the XL-650 it is VERY obvious it's a wrong case.
