9mm not chamber in gun Walther ppq
Quote from Reloader on July 31, 2016, 10:28 pmHave been reloading 9mm since 1980s and currently have Kimber 1911, CZ 75, Taurus 92 and Sig 938 and Walther ppq, all in 9mm. My reloads have always reliably functioned in all my guns until I got the Walther. The chamber is evidently not to Saami specs and is a straight wall chamber with a smaller diameter step at the end. Evidently much cheaper to machine than a tapered chamber.
Problem is the slide doesn't always go fully into battery and the cartridge is jambed in so tight that the extractor won't remove the shell. If I run the crimp down enough to reduce the neck diameter then the case starts to bulge at the base. How do you load for this chamber? Am loading on a square deal.
