9mm powder funnel
Quote from Reloader on June 30, 2019, 4:39 pmon my dillon 550 purchased new around 1997, lately i have been having some coating scraping off on my loads, flare is perfect, i load the same bullet on my other press with lee dies and no problems, i am thinking possibly the powder funnel on the pilot end that enters the case is slightly under size after 15 to 20k rounds, it measures .3528, can you tell me if this needs to be replaced.
thank you
Chet

I'm thinking about using the Mr. Bulletfeeder funnels.

Quote from Reloader on July 8, 2019, 8:51 pmwell i figured if Dillon did not reply be now there is no replacement, what i did was a 10 minute permanent fix, i put a pin or nail in a bench vise, putt he powder funnel sizer over the nail, get a tapered drift or a punch that fits in the end that does the sizing, get your mapp gas torch or oxygen torch get the tip red, put punch or drift in the hole and tap gently, then immerse in water, take measurement, i had to do it twice to get it to .355, then i polished the area to .3545. works slick
