Alignment Fixture

Hi all,
while reloading I broke the plastic Ring Indexer (13677).
I replaced it by removing the Platform (16652) after unscrewing the two
Platform Mount Bolt (13396).
The press is working fine now and I am reloading 45 ACP.

A friend gave me an advise I was not aware of : whenever removing the Platform
I need to check allignement with Alignment Fixture (13713).
Is that true ? Should I really check allignement and where can I buy this tool ?
