Anyone reload the 45 GAP?

Is anyone reloading the 45GAP?

Have you had any problems?

Ive loaded the ACP but not the GAP cant imagine it being any different than the ACP.

Im going to be teaching a friend of mine how to reload and he has the GAP.

I dont know why he'd buy a GAP since he doesnt own a ACP?

To each there own. Id just like to make sure if theres a known problem what to watch for.

So if anyones having problems I'd like to know how they fixed the problem before I show him how to reload.

I'll get him to buy a Dillion shortly after!

Not aware of any issues. Just be sure to convert the primer feed before and after, as 45GAP uses small pistol primers. I suggest avoiding 230 rain bullets. The only KBs I've heard of all involved 230 grain bullets. Limit the 45GAP to 200 grain or lighter.

I've reloaded thousands of rounds of .45 GAP, including 230 grain bullet loads. Except for die adjustment, powder charge and primer size, it isn't very different from reloading .45 ACP.

The only real problem is running a .45 ACP case through dies set of for ACP or vice versa!

The .45 GAP is a great cartridge.

Ok, what the heck is a .45 GAP? This is new to me.
