Awesome Blue Reloader!
Quote from Reloader on August 10, 2007, 7:32 pmI've loaded 1,000's of rounds of ammo for years and never had a progressive press. A friend of mine said it's time to get in the 20th Century! He picked up a like new SDB in .45ACP and practically gave it to me. I downloaded the instruction manual off this site and was loading within minutes. 100 rounds is a matter of minutes now. I think I have to buy a 4th .45 now just to play more. I shoot a lot of .40 also and need to get a conversion kit for my SDB. For handgun ammo....I would recommend no other press. Now I have to shop for a bigger Blue machine to load .223....I now enjoy relaoding again. Next time I'm in AZ.....I'll stop by the Shop. It's been about 15 years since I met Mike's Dad, Mike.

I understand what you mean! I have had my SDB for almost 14 years. In that time I have probably put through close to 20,000 rounds (perhaps more) of 38/357/40/45.
The little pieces parts that have had to be replaced had the impact of a drop of water on the increase of the sea level in the pacific.
What a great machine!

Quote from Reloader on September 22, 2007, 3:32 pmMy sons bought me a SDB 10 years ago for Xmas. I only reload 9mm, .38 and 357 and have reloaded well over 50,000 rounds. I have had very few problems with the machine, but a call to Dillon and the problem is solved. They are without a doubt the best company I have ever dealt with. I buy all of my reloading supplies from Dillon as there customer service is deserving of all my business.

Quote from Reloader on October 18, 2007, 12:09 amI never reloaded in my life and I was 58yrs old. I bought a used SDB from Space Coast Bullet in Melbourne. After getting home I was up and running in about 2hrs and that was going real slow as this was all new to me. Best investment I ever made. I hope to get another one by the end of the year.

Quote from Reloader on December 2, 2007, 8:22 pmBeen loading on one for years, sold a Beretta 92f to get me started. Best bit of thinking I'd done in years. Made it so I had to practice and get my fundamentals down, when you go to the range you will stop shooting because it's dinnertime, not because you are out of ammo.

Quote from Reloader on May 21, 2008, 6:13 pmI shoot both 45ACP and 40S&W and have bought two SDB's. One for Large Pistol Primers and One for Small Pistol Primers. My buddy also has this same thing with 550's. It's a bigger chore to switch primer sizes and dies/shell plates so I prefer not to touch the primer set-up.
I started with a 550 but gave it to my buddy after using the SDB. I only load pistol so I don't need anything more.
