Quote from Reloader on March 4, 2008, 9:35 pmSo will there be an upgrade to allow my two 550s to microstamp the base of each .224 boat tail bullet with an individual serial number while at the same time stamping the case? When I re-use the case again will the above mentioned upgrade also obliterate the earlier stamp so that I can be in compliance by having the new number on the case and bullet? Are these politicians really this clueless? (The last question was rhetorical! The first questions were sarcastic. )

Quote from Reloader on March 5, 2008, 5:31 pmThe politicians are, in the words of Lenin, "useful idiots". The people behind this are the owners of the technology to mark bullets and brass.

Quote from Reloader on March 5, 2008, 8:57 pmI'll have to say that Lenin must have known something that I don't. I can only verify half his statement regarding politicians. I'll let you decide which half fits. ;^)
I guess when they couldn't take away the guns then next answer was to make the ammo so expensive that no one would be able to shoot the guns they rightfully own. The battle is never ending. This country was formed by people who wanted to put a stop to total government control. I'm sure they thought that the constitution would prevent that. I think it should but I'm not a politician.

it is an instrument for the people to restrain the government --
lest it come to dominate our lives and interests. "

Quote from Reloader on March 11, 2008, 8:56 pmThis bill is unbelievable. They tried to introduce in IN. Didn't last long. I wonder if they even gave reloaders a thought? A full out ban on reloading would have to be put into effect. Of course only law abiding citizens would follow it. The criminals would just have to learn another skill set.

Quote from Reloader on June 4, 2008, 6:32 pmThis type of topic scares the hell out of me. From what little research I've done, these are all the states that have looked/are looking at it: Tennessee, Mississippi, Arizona, New York, Washington, Alabama, Hawaii, Missouri, South Carolina, and Pennsylvania.
Here's more info from the group trying to get it going: www.ammocoding.com/
Who's with me for moving to Montana and stock piling?
