Belling cases in non dillon press
Quote from Reloader on March 3, 2018, 6:38 pmGuys I maybe be having a senior moment but I hope it will pass. I am having a problem belling cases using Dillon Dies on a Big Boss II press. I have some RCBS dies but I do not like the seating and crimping dies. In my two Dillon 550s the belling is done at the powder station. I use the Big Boss to load ammunition that I rarely use and do not use the powder funnel. I know this must be an elementary question but could some kind soul give me advice on this issue. Thanks

Quote from Reloader on March 4, 2018, 5:24 pmThere is nothing stopping you from using your Dillon die for belling the case. If you have the conversion kits. You do not have to drop powder. Just use it to bell. That powder thrower can sit up there just fine holding the powder funnel in place. However. If you do not have the conversion kits with the proper size powder funnels. Then use a universal belling die. I use the Lee die when I need to bell something and I have no other way of doing it.
