belling problem with dillon rifle dies

I just bought a set of Dillon 223 rifle dies. The sizing die has a built-in expander to flare case mouth for bullet. My problem is that it does not expand case mouth enough to accept a hornady 55gr. soft point. I cannot screw sizing die down anymore. Any suggestions?

The powder die bells the case is Sta. 2. Doesn't take much for a 223 and you will still have to hold the bullet in place until it contacts the seating die.

I have been reloading for 40+ years and I have never flared the mouth of a rifle case. Pistol and revolver cases need to be flared but not rifle cases. Have i been reloading wrong for all these years?
