Belling with Dillon Dies
Quote from Reloader on August 24, 2009, 2:48 pmI really like the Dillon dies and use them on my 1050. However, sometimes I would like to do small batches on a single stage press and I need to bell the mouth for the bullet. Is there a way to do this with Dillons dies or other tools? I've thought of using the powder die assembly but would rather not move the whole powder assembly just to add a bell.

Quote from Reloader on August 24, 2009, 3:55 pmSince our reloading machines are designed to flare the case at the powder measure, you can use an RL450 powder die (stock #20308-$17.95) to flare the case on your single stage loader. The 450 powder die has a set screw to lock the powder funnel in place, then adjust the height of the die to flare the case the desired amount.
