The area that I am looking to place my 550B is only 36 inches wide, I know that it is recommended to have 12 inches on both side of the machine. But how wide is the 550B?

So will this be wide enough?

I have a XL650 in a 36 inch wide by 24 inch deep area. If you keep the side clear of 'extras', then it works. I had a 550B and it worked fine in same cabinet. Nice feature is locking doors.

Mine is 19 1/2" wide, which includes the bullet tray and loaded cartridge bin.
