BL550 inserting primers?

On a base model BL550 (WITHOUT an Automatic Primer System) how does one insert primers? Does the Primer Seating Cup cycle in and out (horizontally) with the handle being pulled or does one need to place a primer in the Primer Seating Cup at the Shellplate each time?

On the BL550 the bar is stationary. After you pull the handle down, you set a primer into the seating cup with your fingers. Then you lift the handle up and push it forward to seat the primer into the case.
